REVIVE OLD CLOTHES TO FEEL NEW AGAIN

Statement necklace: BaubleBar | Sweater: Dillard’s | Skirt: Kohls | Tote: Tory Burch | Cuff: RiffRaff
I hope your Valentine’s Day was as sweet as mine! I wore this outfit on Sunday to celebrate the day with my honey and his mom! We dined at Trinity Groves at LUCK, went to the Cake Bar (seriously so delicious) and walked the Continental Pedestrian Bride and enjoyed the gorgeous view!
So I’ve had myself on a major budget lately. Cutting back on spending on clothes, shoes and accessories (it’s sad, I know). So I’ve really been digging in my closet lately for oldies but goodies! This sweater and skirt are at least three years old and hardly worn in the past year. Adding new accessories like this fab statement necklace and wearing older items in a new way can make your closet feel new again! Throw on a cute jacket or blazer over an old favorite top. Slip on some sneakers with an old dress and add a waist tie. And my favorite recently, wear a dress (short or maxi) under a cozy sweater for a whole new look! (A post on this style to come soon!!)
Being a blogger on a budget stinks. But that’s why I blog about deals and steals that I come across so I can help those of you who are also on a budget or just love a good sale! I’ve linked similar items to my outfit below that don’t break the bank. Always be sure to check for any coupons or discounts before purchasing anything anywhere! But if you’re in no state to be shopping, definitely go dig in your closet and find items you can re-wear with a new flare!
Happy shopping, babes!

I'm also on a budget – BIG time. Trying to "shop my closet" as they say and find new ways to wear older items. It can be a challenge, but with a few small edits it's really not that bad! ๐Ÿ™‚ And you look super chic!
