Cold weather is back (about time Texas) and so am I! These last two weeks at work have been gruesome to say the least. The event industry can REALLY take a toll on us crazy enough to work in it!!!! From weddings to bat mitzvahs to holiday parties, I am just =&0=&from the long hours and crazy clients! BUT with all said and done… I love events and I love seeing a happy client at the end of an event. See why we’re crazy?!
Enough work talk! I am so excited to share this EASY and affordable holiday outfit! You know how I’m always babbling on about staple pieces every girl needs in her wardrobe? Well do I have a treat for you! This dress (buy it here!) is SO flattering with very slight flare at the waist (to hide my not so flat belly), it’s great quality AND under $20!!!! I bought it in nude as well, mostly because the F21 girls in the dressing room said I looked great in this dress…and that is why you shop with friends or make friends while shopping! Haha!
Let’s touch on this unFAUXgettable scarf! The one I am wearing is actually the oversized cowl scarf (comes in black or mine) but I also own the short infiniti (here). I love both, especially the price! Hunter bought them for me as an early Christmas gift and I couldn’t have asked for a better gift!! They really DO keep you warm and it’s a fab new way to add that faux fur flare to your holiday style.
Saving the best for last…these =&1=& though! I have been searching for an affordable pair in grey or black and the Bachelorette by Chinese Laundry (buy it here or here) comes in grey, black and brown! They are super comfy and actually fit around my calves (it’s a struggle, y’all). So far, these are my all time favorite boots. I love the color and I LOVE that I didn’t spend an arm and a leg aka $800-$900 on the originals (find them here). They are so similar and still great quality. Use a Macy’s coupon (they ALWAYS have some, look here) on your purchase like I did to save even more!! 🙂
