So I’m back and I’ve recuperated from my Tokyo trip. Now we’re all moved into our new, bigger unit! This past weekend was a drag trying to move everything and clean the last apartment, but this week has been filled with organizing and redecorating (my favorite). The new place is slowly but surely coming together. My outfit about sums up how I am feeling about Fall coming. I just can’t wait! The weather has been cooler and rainy here in Dallas for the past week which is making me super excited for Fall!!
My transitional outfit includes this side-slit sweater from the #Nsale but you can still purchase it here. It’s definitely one of my favorite purchases from the sale. It’s super comfy and soft, perfect for Fall and Winter! My basic v-neck tank is from TjMaxx for $6.99 (the brand is Tresics, they always have such comfy basics)! My Michael Kors sneaks were a birthday gift from Hunter’s mom Wendy. Aren’t they so fun?! They just scream my name haha. This style is sold out but you can buy a similar pair here or here (or click the images below)! I love that I can wear these with a casual outfit or dress it up a bit since they’re “fancier” sneaks!!
With this new unit came a humongous balcony that has a view of the Dallas skyline (not the best thanks to power lines, but whatever haha). We are so excited to spend time out on our balcony this Fall. I’ve been on the search for some comfy furniture to fill the space and make it perfect for guests! I came across this set at TjMaxx in Dallas when I was shopping for bathroom accessories! It’s not comfy, but it was on clearance…major, major clearance. The chairs were $12 each and the bistro table was $16. Like…what? Is this even real? I don’t know how often I need to preach to you guys that TjMaxx and HomeGoods are THE way to go for home decor and furniture! There’s still a ways to go with making our balcony perfect but this set was a great start.
Have you met Luna yet?! The adorable, to-die-for-eared pup stealing the spotlight in these pics is Hunter and I’s 16-week old mutt. We’ve adopted her about a month ago from DFW Rescue Me. They aren’t positive on her breed but they were sure she had pitbull in her. Hunter is convinced that she’s likely a basenji-pitbull mix after googling. She’s the sweetest little pup, so cuddly and playful. I couldn’t believe that she was a stray when they found her!! She’s already grown so much since we got her and I’m getting so sentimental about it!!!! If you’re local, definitely consider this organization to adopt from if you’re in the market for a pup. They were such a joy and super easy to work with and I still stay in touch with Becky, Luna’s foster mom!
