In the Grey Blog Home Tour: Bedroom Reveal
I know it’s been awhile, blog fam! I’m still so happy to have you here and following along. I last shared a New Year home update of our living and dining room on this post. Today, I’m sharing another home tour and it is our highly requested bedroom reveal! Keep in mind, we still live in an older apartment (but not for long) and don’t have the biggest/tallest rooms. But hopefully my home tours give you some inspo for your own homes!

I partnered with Desenio on this reveal because I absolutely LOVE their art and frames and know you guys will too. They have such a large inventory of wall art and something for everyone! The pieces I ordered definitely completed our bedroom and we couldn’t be more in love with this room now. Honestly, we hardly ever spent time in it except to sleep. Now, we’re racing to watch TV in bed after dinner. Not even kidding!
Below, you can see the pieces I got in. From left to right: Graphic Art No1 (50×70), Close Black (50×70), and Black and White Lines No1 (50×70). I ordered the metal black frames from Desenio as well and love how lightweight they are!

Neutral Decor
Are you surprised I ordered neutral colored art work? Lol! I couldn’t bring myself to bring in any bright colors (even though Hunter would have loved to see some blue or green art hehe.) Instead of a bright color, I thought some black accents would be a nice POP! Placing these bold pieces just above our bed makes the room look much taller and helps draw the eyes to the center of the main wall. I also ordered this gorgeous bench to tie the whole room together and I couldn’t be happier with my decision to add black accents!
We also got this larger piece of art below from Desenio, Abstract Figures No1 (70×100). I went with the white wood frame on this piece as to not go overboard with the black. Lately, I’ve been loving the look of line art. Back in AP Art class in high school, I remember studying line art and thought it was so fascinating! (I graduated high school 10 years ago so I’ve been feeling v nostalgic lately hahaha.)

Not even gonna lie to you guys. The opposite wall in our bedroom is just a closet door, a 6-drawer dresser that has our TV on it, a tall bookshelf for Hunter’s hats and a 4-drawer dresser… all from the Ikea malm collection in white. Nothing to see really since that half of the room is technically Hunter’s space. Just imagine a messy boy and his many random things everywhere hahaha.
But I hope you guys loved this home tour and found a little bit of inspiration to make your own bedroom a space you love to spend time in! More photos of our room below along with links to what products we have. Feel free to comment if I didn’t include something you loved!

Sadly, this will be our last home tour of this apartment. We are actually moving in with my parents at the end of this month to save money for our wedding (exactly 4 months away today) and our future house! It’ll be interesting to say the least, but we are excited for a new chapter (and to be done with apartment living hopefully!!!)
